Abstract:
In addition to having served as president of CCNGS, Kennard has served as the publisher and archivist of The Prospector for more than two decades. He shares his experience with CCNGS and The Prospector, providing background about their partnership with Henderson Libraries and activities, along with helpful advice for beginning genealogists. CCNGS meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month at Paseo Verde Library and are open to the public. Additional programs are offered at Paseo Verde Library, which maintains the Heritage Room Archives for genealogical research. CCNGS also features seminars in fall and spring.
