- Summary:
- Virgil Weese, originally from St. Joe, Missouri, moved to Henderson in 1946, into one of the Townsite Houses, 18 Nevada Way. He attended Carver Park School. He recalls growing up in Henderson, swimming with his friends at Lake Mead, before they built the first Henderson swimming pool. Mr. Weese recalls his military career, both his grandfather and father's businesses, and attending school.
