- Interview with Dr. Joseph A. Williams, conducted and filmed by Anne Marie Hamilton-Brehm at Paseo Verde Library in Henderson, Nevada, June 13, 2015. Dr. Williams teaches Chemistry in Henderson Libraries’ Generation STEAM workshop series and at College of Southern Nevada. He shares his beginnings in science and his exciting career as a chemist working for the Food and Drug Administration, Johnson and Johnson, and Marion Laboratories. A skilled manager and teacher, Dr. Williams shares insights on problem solving, management, and teaching. He concludes with advice to students and advocacy for science education.
