Summary:
Black and white photograph showing six men standing in a row, all wearing hardhats, some with "Safety Contest Winner" visible on the side. The men are standing in front of a poster for Titanium Metals, featuring the Mercury space capsule. The men are winners of a weekly Safety Contest sponsored by Titanium Metals Corporation. From left to right: J. Arkell, R. Phillips, W.K. Nelson, A.D. Alexander, E.V. Francy, and D. Brown. The winners were allowed to choose from prizes like seat belts, safety shoes, fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
