- Summary:
- Black and white photograph of nine men, some in law enforcement uniforms, posing around a desk with stacks of tickets for the "Victory Show." The Victory Show was a variety show sponsored by the Police Benevolent Society to benefit the Henderson Youth Center. It was held at Ben Church Memorial Field on June 15, 1954. Many of the featured acts were playing in the major Las Vegas casinos, including Frank Sinatra, Artie Shaw, Dennis Day, the Ink Spots, Dorothy Lamour, and Joel Gray. The show raised over $8000.
