Summary:
Black and white photograph showing a group of people standing in front of stack of cinderblocks. A sign, leaning on the cinderblocks, reads "Site of Pittman Community Center Building." One man has begun stacking cinderblocks. The Pittman Community Center building was sponsored by the Pittman Women's Club, and was built from donated materials, by volunteers, from 1953 to 1955 on donated land at Wells Park on Walnut Street.
