520 3    |a Dorothy Coroneos was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She came to Henderson with her family in the late 1940s when her father began work at the Nevada Test Site. She shares stories about growing up in Henderson and her career, recalling many well-known businesses in early Henderson and Pittman. Coroneos began working for Bank of Nevada under Selma Bartlett, served on the boards of St. Rose de Lima Hospital and Henderson Library, and was a member of the Pittman Woman’s Club. She owns and operates Coroneos Property Management.
