- Summary:
- Robert Earl Campbell served as City Manager of Henderson from 1977 to 1981, fostering teamwork and supporting community development. He helped coordinate legislation to establish College of Southern Nevada in 1981 and Nevada State College in 2002. Campbell guided the development of Green Valley when he became Senior Vice President and General Manager of American Nevada Corporation in 1981. Later he led the development of Lake Las Vegas in 1989 as Vice President of Marketing and Public Affairs of Transcontinental Properties. Campbell reflects on his childhood in Missouri, how he became a city manager, and shares stories about his work in Henderson.
