From left: Ruby Bertman (manager), Jack Pherigo (owner), and Ruth Pherigo. The newspaper reports that Pherigo had owned and operated the Corral Bar for the past 15 months, having formerly owned an upholstery shop in Victory Village, and that he was an active worker in the VFW.
