- Student newspaper written by and for the students at Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada. Presented in a larger format and dated October 12, 1951, this edition is numbered volume 1, number 1. Articles from the front page highlight the backgrounds of principal John Dooley and newly appointed school superintendent Lyle Burkholder, class officer elections, and plans for the Freshman class to construct a "B" on a hill near the school rather than be subjected to the old "hazing" ritual.
