Summary:
Black and white group photograph of a Basic Magnesium Incorporated Guard Force award ceremony, circa 1944. Guard Force Captain Dryden Patrick Carver, Jr., stands on the right. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1911, Carver was Captain of the Guard for Basic Magnesium Incorporated at Henderson and Gabbs, Nevada, from 1942 to 1944. Following World War II, he was General Manager of the Yellow Cab Company in Las Vegas, Nevada, for forty years. Carver died in Las Vegas in 1986.
