Summary:
Black and white photograph of Stephen Fleming and Gail Scott as children in Henderson, Nevada, in 1943. Posed in the fenced yard of 55 Magnesium Street, they stand under a clothesline. Beyond the fence is a neighboring house with a car parked under the carport. Stephen Fleming is the son of Jane Schwartz Fleming (1919-2010) and Edmund L. Fleming (1915-1990). Handwritten notes on the verso read: Stephen Fleming, Gail Scott, Henderson, Nev. 1943, Aunt Bea's granddaughter. They use [sic] to walk down to see us about every day. You knew when they were coming and you'd be so excited to see Gail, as she would read to you and take you for walks. 55 Magnesium St.
