- Summary:
- Booklet describing the history of Henderson, Nevada, illustrated by students of Gordon McCaw Elementary School and funded by a grant from the Junior League of Las Vegas, dated 1991. Information presented in the booklet was gathered by fourth grade students via field trips and personal interviews with community members. In particular, the booklet describes Henderson's origins and the development of neighborhoods and schools. The booklet additionally features historical trivia and a glossary of community members, local place names, businesses, and terms associated with Basic Magnesium, Inc.
