|a Frank Belger arrived in Henderson as a child and attended both Catholic and public schools. He enjoyed a long career with the Henderson Fire Department and retired in Henderson. Belger shares his adventures growing up in early Henderson, and elaborates on significant accidents in Clark County, including his experience fighting the MGM Grand fire and the consequences of the PEPCON explosion in Henderson. In Part 3, Belger elaborates on his career as an engineer in the Henderson Fire Department and describes the environmental impact of the industrial plants in Henderson and shares his experience fighting the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino fire in 1980. |
