Summary:
Frank Belger arrived in Henderson as a child and attended both Catholic and public schools. He enjoyed a long career with the Henderson Fire Department and retired in Henderson. Belger shares his adventures growing up in early Henderson, and elaborates on significant accidents in Clark County, including his experience fighting the MGM Grand fire and the consequences of the PEPCON explosion in Henderson. In Part 2, Belger recalls attending Basic High School in Henderson and describes early medical care in Henderson and how he began his career with the Fire Department under Chief Don Richards and later Chief Bob Blankenship.
