Summary:
Ilene and Don Bittle arrived in Henderson at different times. Don arrived in 1944, when he was ten years old. Ilene came to Henderson in 1958 from Iowa, where her parents were educators. The Bittles share their family background and experiences in Henderson, including their teaching careers. Don tells humorous stories about his teen-age years in Henderson involving the football coach and the local police. Additionally, they recall watching nuclear tests conducted at the Nevada Test Site, the MGM fire, and the PEPCON explosion.
