- Summary:
- Black and white photograph probably depicting preparations for the Southern Nevada Museum, which opened during the 1968 Industrial Days celebration. This photograph may show Henderson residents in the old high school gymnasium helping to unpack and display the original collection of Anna Roberts Parks (see link below). The man on the right is dentist Stan Jones. The museum was open seven days a weeks with the aid of volunteer workers and became incorporated as a non-profit educational institution governed by a Board of Trustees with residents of both Henderson and Las Vegas.
