- Summary:
- Black and white photograph depicting Chuck Galloway giving a tour to young teenagers on a school visit to the Southern Nevada Museum. Opened during the 1968 Industrial Days celebration, the museum was housed in the old high school gymnasium. The museum was open seven days a weeks with the aid of volunteer workers and became incorporated as a non-profit educational institution governed by a Board of Trustees with residents of both Henderson and Las Vegas. Chuck Galloway was a Basic High School graduate and football player who served in the Korean War.
