- The Henderson Coordinating minutes of 1948 address securing a meeting place for community organizations, plans for a Lake Mead boat dock and sculling (rowing) training program, plans for a psychological clinic, playground safety, liquor licenses on the Townsite, the Red Cross charity drive, placing Henderson on highway maps, plans to secure the purchase of homes in Henderson from the federal government, utility and rent costs, vandalism, power and water conservation, prevention of childhood diseases, the new psychiatry clinic, transfer of the plant and utilities from federal to state administration, organization of the Sherriff's Athletic League to reduce juvenile delinquency, animal control, problems at the Teenage Club and the appointment of a Youth Activities Committee, development of a Town Park, holiday party preparations, and annual charity donations.
