Notes
- Summary:
- The theme of the 2012 Summer Reading Program Photography Contest is "After Hours". Participants may submit photographs that were taken at night or in low-light conditions. Entries will be accepted between June 9, 2012 and August 25, 2012. In answer to the question "How does your entry fit the contest theme?" the photographer answered: My entry fits the theme of "After Hours" because: My mom and I went for a late walk during a monsoon, nobody was outside, just us. It was almost quiet, except for the random booming of thunder, and the chorus of crickets and frogs. The bats flew loop-de-loops, like acrobats in a circus. It felt like we were alone, but we weren't every person had gone home, but the animals had come out. The lightning flashed, then it was gone. ( , )
