- Six of the original seven Adrian Dominican Sisters who arrived in Henderson, Nevada in 1947 to assume responsibility of their newly acquired hospital. After their arrival, the hospital's name was changed from Basic Hospital to Rose de Lima Hospital. (This photograph was included as photograph 3 in the "Women of St. Rose" project submitted by the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Women's Committee for the Library of Congress' Local Legacy 2000 program.)
