- Summary:
- Phil Speight was City Manager when this interview was conducted in 2003. He talks about the tremendous growth of the city's population and of its geographical boundaries over the years and discusses the ability of the city's government to respond to growth as key in making Henderson a great place to live and work. He talks about Lake Adair and Lake Las Vegas and also points to the Pavilion and Multigenerational Center as highlights in terms of the expansion of amenities for the city. This interview was conducted in celebration of Henderson's 50th year as an incorporated city.
