- Summary:
- Shauna Hughes had been City Attorney for 20 years when this interview was conducted in 2003. She talks about the responsibilities of her job and then about the development of Henderson over the years and in the future. She talks specifically about Green Valley, Anthem, and the Galleria Mall and the importance of these developments in terms of the city's growth and the ways they serve the needs of the community. She talks about the city's oriented focus on family life and the "newness" of Henderson as two of the city's most important strengths. This interview was conducted in celebration of Henderson's 50th year as an incorporated city.
