- Summary:
- Mary Jo Sheehan moved to Henderson in her teens and worked at the BMI plants for the War Assets Administration. She also worked for the Colorado River Commission and remembers when the townsite homes were made available for purchase by individuals. She and her husband ran a business in Henderson for twenty years, and she talks about how her life in Henderson afforded her many opportunities for living well. This interview was conducted in celebration of Henderson's 50th year as an incorporated city.
