Notes
- Summary:
- Father Caesar Caviglia lived and worked in Henderson for a number of years and talks mostly about his work during the 1960s and 1970s. He was instrumental in establishing several important community projects including the community college, programs and homes for seniors, freeway development, Lake Las Vegas, the city's master plan, and the convention center. He talks about how often people worked together to get things done during the early years in Henderson and wonders if that kind of cooperation can continue in the future given the increase in population and the larger size of the city. This interview was conducted in celebration of Henderson's 50th year as an incorporated city.
