- In this 1943 photograph, featured in the Basic Bombardier newsletter of Basic Magnesium, Inc., the BMI Riggers display their Softball League championship trophy. They beat the BMI Firemen, Engineers, and two Gunnery teams in their quest for victory. Pitcher Leo Downing holds the cup.
