Case, general manager of BMI, displays a magnesium ingot and a large tag that reads "From Basic Magnesium to Berlin (via the Memphis Belle)". Ten Memphis Belle crewmen pose in front of the Memphis Belle. Back left to right: Staff Sergeant Clarence E. Winchell, Sergeant Robert J. Hanson, Captain Vincent B. Evans, Captain Charles B. Leighton, and Captain James A. Verinis. Front left to right: Staff Sergeant John P. Quinlan, F. O. Case, Tech Sergeant Harold P. Loch, Staff Sergeant Casimer A. Nastal, Major Robert K.
