- Summary:
- Pasquale Angelone was 17 years old and still in high school when he heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor on the radio and decided to join the U.S. Navy. His first assignment was on the aircraft carrier Kula Gulf where he was ship's cook, 3rd class. He later became an aerial gunner, 3rd class. After the war he returned home to find employment. He was unsuccessful. He decided to join the U.S. Army and was subsequently stationed in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
