Benefitting from a full tuition art scholarship, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Brigham Young University in 1967. She studied art in Europe with UNLV instructor Peter Meyer and BYU instructor Franz Johansen, Annalee shares stories about her life in Henderson, including the construction of the LDS Ocean Street chapel in 1950s Henderson and the story behind her two watercolor paintings of Three Kids Mine. The Henderson Historical Society is donating giclée reproductions of the mine paintings to the City of Henderson and State of Nevada in honor of Nevada’s Sesquicentennial.
