Abstract:
Arturo Ochoa shares his inspirational story of perseverance, from growing up in South Tucson to serving in the Marine Corps to becoming a principal in Henderson and Las Vegas elementary schools. He describes many of his projects, including the Robert Taylor Elementary Love Garden, the transition to the computer age, school renovations, his Suzuki Violin Program at Sunrise Acres Elementary, and the Foundation to Assist Young Musicians (FAYM), which he co-founded.
