Notes

Abstract:
Agnes Phillips came to Henderson in 1951. Originally from Canada, she and her husband, Dr. Lorne Phillips, played an important role in bringing successful medical services to the community. Phillips was an early advocate for the local hospital and donated a great deal of time and energy to Rose de Lima and its causes. She and Dr. Phillips raised three children, Keith, Roy Andrew, and Lorna Elaine Motte. During the interview, Phillips shares memories of the early Henderson community and discusses the history of health services in the BMI Townsite and Henderson.
