- Abstract:
- Basic High School yearbook from the 1957-1958 school year. From the foreword, "We have made several changes in the annual which we hope meet with your approval. Our theme was built around our school emblem--the wolf--and the desert. We felt that it was best to leave this theme unnamed. One of the major changes was in the dedication. In the past the annual has been dedicated to some person. This year’s dedication, to “The Spirit of Basic High School,” was chosen because of the excellent school spirit shown throughout the year. This spirit was culminated by winning the sportsmanship trophy at the Southern Zone basketball tournament and the “A” consolation trophy at the State basketball tournament.”
